Vintage 1970s skateboard forum

very nice, i had an orange one a while back with a screened sims logo but i just couldnt find anything suitable to set it up with so sold it on i bet they are amazing to ride as the flex and rebound is unreal

Never ridden one , the other one i had previously was also undrilled so just looked at em , ive only ever seen one other with the screen printed logo a red one , every other ones are die cut vinyl , so must have only been a few screen printed

im not up on turners,what was the purpose of the slightly diff tail shapes? any idea?

I dont know they were all hand laid i never noticed they were slightly different until i had side by side , some sims racing ones were specially made for tom sims accordingly by bobby turner himself and some tom sims just bought the standard blanks off turner then stuck the decal on them
